The departure points on the island of Ibiza are the port of Ibiza, in Ibiza town, Figueretas beach and Playa d'en Bossa beach. In Formentera, both arrivals and departures to Ibiza are always carried out from the port of La Savina.

Aquabus Jet, new high-speed ferries: Ibiza - Formentera in just 30 minutes

We offer you Aquabus Jet, a new service whereby, aboard our two new high-speed, state-of-the-art ferries, you can make the journey between the islands of Ibiza and Formentera in just 30 minutes.

These two boats stand out for their speed, size and comfort. With 42 metres in length and 11 metres in width, they have capacity for 410 passengers.

AquaBus Jet Services

When travelling with the Aquabus Jet, you can choose between the Standard, Comfort or Premium services.

The Standard service includes WiFI and non-reclining seats.

The Comfort service offers you WiFi, reclining seats (with more legroom) located on the upper deck, a free newspaper and an additional discount in case you feel like having some refreshments at the bar.

And finally, when you travel with our Premium service, you'll have access to a wide range of magazines and newspapers, WiFI, free drinks and snacks and, best of all, priority boarding, allowing you to avoid any queues and uncomfortable waiting time when boarding. In addition, the reclining seats have more legroom and built-in USB ports so you can charge your mobile phone and have it with you during the trip.

In addition, all seats, regardless of the service you choose, have a folding tray.

At Aquabus Ferry Boats, we are in love with the islands of Ibiza and Formentera and, for this reason, we invite you to discover them.

Ibiza

Ibiza is an island of contrasts, offering you beaches of incomparable beauty, peaceful rural landscapes typical of the Mediterranean, relaxing moments for enjoying a sunset and also moments of fun in some of the most fashionable bars.

Ibiza offers you a wide variety of entertainment options and places to discover. One of the most touristy places on the island and the starting point of our regular service from April to October is Playa d'en Bossa. It is known for its great atmosphere, with discotheques, beach clubs, bars, pubs, shops and countless businesses, as well as for having the longest beach in Ibiza.

A few kilometres from Playa d'en Bossa, we recommend you visit the historic centre of Ibiza town, known as Dalt Vila. It is well worth taking a stroll through its cobbled streets or around the marina area.

Also close to Ibiza town you will find Figueretas beach, whose promenade at night is lined with small craft and souvenir stalls.

Formentera

Formentera is a true paradise on Earth, where the beauty of its Mediterranean villages, its beaches with turquoise waters, the calm that permeates through the whole island and its charming corners will undoubtedly leave you open-mouthed.

 

If you want to get to know the island, Aquabus Ferry Boats offers you the opportunity to start at the port of La Savina, the arrival point for our boats and ferries, nowadays converted into a large marina.

 

There are many things to do in Formentera, either just in one day or for longer stays. Tour the island by motorbike; dive or swim in any of its beaches, such as Ses Illetes, Cala Saona or Es Caló d'es Mort, among others; take a stroll around its capital, Sant Francesc; visit some of its emblematic lighthouses, such as Cap de Barbaria or Cap de la Mola; or eat the traditional peix sec salad in a traditional peix sec salad at a beach bar… These are just some of the alternatives you have for getting to know the island.

Is it necessary to print my reservation?

No, it is not necessary to print your reservation. You can show your reservation on your mobile device to our staff.

Can I change the date or time of my reservation?

Yes, you can change the details of your reservation by paying a management fee of €5 per passenger and trip.

Can I travel at any time?

If you have purchased an open ticket, you can board at any available time as long as there is availability. If you have reserved a specific time, it must be respected.

I have reserved a fixed time. Can I board at another time?

The recommendation is to respect the reserved time. If you arrive early or late, you can board at the next available time as long as there is availability.

Can I make the round trip on different days? Can I make a one-way trip?

No, departures from Figueretas and Playa d'en Bossa are considered tourist excursions, so the round trip must be made on the same day.

For this same reason, it is not possible to make a one-way trip only.

What happens if I arrive late and there is no availability on another schedule, or there is no other boat later?

In this case, you lose your ticket. If you have purchased a round-trip ticket, you can use the return without any problem as you have reserved it.

Can I cancel my reservation?

All reservations made on our site are final without cancellation. If you need to change the dates, you can do so by contacting Customer Service.

I received a cancellation/schedule change notification. What should I do?

In case of a service cancellation on our part, you can change the date/time of your trip at no extra cost.

If it is not possible for you to travel at another time, you can request a full refund for the affected trips.

If it is a schedule change, as long as it is reasonable, there is no option for a refund. If this change interferes with your trip in any way, contact Customer Service and they will be happy to help you in the best possible way to resolve your situation.

How much in advance should I arrive at the boarding point?

We recommend being at least 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

To depart from the beaches, you should go to one of the following points:

Can I board from any point?

You must go to the departure point for which you have made the reservation.

It is not possible to board at the port of Ibiza city if you have made a reservation to depart from Figueretas or Playa d'en Bossa as they are independent lines.

If you want to change the boarding point, contact Customer Service.

    Can I bring luggage on board?

    In the case of departure from Figueretas or Playa d'en Bossa, it is not allowed to board with luggage beyond a backpack, beach bag, beach umbrella... Everything you need to spend the day.

    This is because departures from the beaches to Formentera are considered tourist excursions.

      Can I board with a vehicle/bicycle?

      Due to the type of boats and the characteristics of the docks, it is not possible to board with cars or motorcycles.

      To bring your bicycle, we recommend, especially if traveling in groups, that you check with us.

        Can I board with animals? Is there any cost?

        Of course you can! You can board with your pets at no extra cost. We recommend that in the case of dogs, and especially if they are medium/large breeds, they wear a muzzle and are always on a leash/carrier. They cannot be loose on board at any time.

        Our recommendation is that, when traveling with animals, you depart from the port of Ibiza for the well-being of your four-legged friend, as departing from the beaches can be more stressful for them.

          Where can I park my vehicle?

          Playa d'en Bossa: Near the dock, there is free parking available. Also, you can park for free throughout the area within a 10-minute walk.

          Figueretas: The Figueretas area is all metered parking with a maximum time of two hours, after which you must renew. If you come by car, we recommend boarding at Playa d'en Bossa. You can also park for free in the area of the multiplex cinemas.
