For a small island, Ibiza offers plenty of options for your holidays: paradisiacal beaches, rural surroundings, exclusive mediterranean gastronomy… We suggest 7 places you should visit during your stay in Ibiza.

1. Dalt Vila

Dalt Vila was chosen as a world heritage site by Unesco in 1999. It is the historic centre of the most traditional Ibiza. It consists of a network of narrow whitewashed streets filled with palatial homes and art galleries. If you want to enjoy a most spectacular view, we invite you to observe the area’s walled perimeter from above.

2. Ferry to Formentera

Formentera is a must-see destination if you travel to the Balearic Islands. With Aquabus, you’ll be able to book a ferry that will take you to enchanting places you can’t miss out on: Ses Illetes beach, Sant Francesc Xavier municipality, Formentera’s Windmills; the Salinas, Caló des Morts, sunset at Cap de Barbaria and, as a general rule, Espalmador island.

3. Its exclusive nightclubs

If Ibiza is renowned for something, it’s for its authentic and impressive nightlife. The island has such a variety of clubs that they’ll make your holidays unforgettable: Amnesia, designated three times as the world’s best club; Bora Bora, a day club in the very Bossa beach; Pachá, the island’s night icon; Privilege, famous for its Supermartxé parties; Es Paradis, known for their waterparties; Ocean Beach; SWAG; and of course, Ushuaïa Beach Hotel, in order to enjoy parties alongside an enormous pool with the world’s best DJs.

4. The hippy flea markets

The hippie markets are an emblem of the island. If you’re looking to buy the most exotic clothes, made-to-measure leather moccasins; handmade jewelry and many other original products, you can’t miss out on the flea markets. The Las Dalias market on saturdays in San Carlos and the Punta Arabí market wednesdays in Es Canar standout the most.

5. Las Salinas

They’re located along the island’s most southern edge. Throughout the summer, the water in the diverse ponds evaporates, leaving behind a thin layer of pure sea salt. Near this emblematic spot one can find the Salinas beach.

6. Can Marçà Caves

These are located on the cliffs of Port de Sant Miquel. These cliffs represent one of the most recognised tourist attractions of the island’s northern area. The grotto offers a 40-minute tour among stalactites, stalagmites, waterfalls, small lakes… You’ll be able to visit them whenever you wish as they’re open all year round.

7. Seeing a sunset in Café del Mar or in Benirràs

If you’re a fan of beautiful sunsets, Café del Mar is your place to go. It’s a bar that offers chill out music, serves international dishes and offers us spectacular views facing the Mediterranean sea. If you want to see other dreamlike sunsets, don’t forget Benirrás. Located north of the island, it grants us a fascinating environment with hippie drum parties every sunday, making your trip one you won’t forget.
