The summer is over and all the savings are gone. Trips, suitcases and farewells welcome September. In the middle of August we already feel that nostalgia that the summer has escaped us and we have not taken full advantage of it. But it’s never too late… What do you think if you pack your suitcase quickly and we go to Ibiza for a weekend getaway?

Travel alone, with your partner, with a relative or with friends, in this post we tell you how to take advantage of a visit to the island in just 24 hours. Shall we go?

Friday

If you arrive to Ibiza on Friday afternoon, we recommend that you have dinner in the historic centre of Ibiza town. This is a fantastic location for your first contact with the island. The centre of Ibiza is surrounded by a wall and there is a wide range of restaurants to dine in the area. If you are vegetarian, vegan… there are options for all tastes. Choose the one that suits you best.

After dinner you can walk around the town and you will find many bars, pubs… to have a drink. Of course, if you drink, do not drive. We recommend that in order to make the most of your time on the island you rent a car to get around it.

If you travel in high season, it is better to hire the service in advance as the demand for cars is usually very high in summer. Renting a car will make you enjoy your own timetables and not have to adapt to the options that public transport gives you.

Saturday

In the morning: before going to the beach, if you want to take advantage of the day, you can not miss Las Dalias Hippy Market. Ibizan markets are famous for their craftsmanship and for the great peculiarity of all their stalls. They are an essential part of your trip.

To eat? Ibiza offers a wide variety of restaurants and beach clubs to suit your tastes. We recommend that you eat in a beach club because these places have very good views, live music…

After lunch, there is an afternoon on the beach: Cala Comte, Cala D’Hort, Playa d’en Bossa… The latter is the best known and longest in Ibiza. Here you will find a great variety of aquatic activities such as snorkelling, flyboard…

The island gives us wonderful sunsets. If you love photography, we recommend the sunset of Benirrás or Punta Galera. Any of them is worth a visit.

At night: they certainly don’t need to convince you to go out for a drink. This article would be incomplete if we did not mention the mythical nightlife of Ibiza. Each discotheque will offer you a different musical style or theme, but if you are looking for pubs, it would be better to take a walk through the emblematic area of the bay of San Antonio.

Sunday

Sunday morning: excursion to Es Vedrá. We recommend the service offered by Aquabus. Cheap, close and with multiple options: trip to Formentera, Cuevas de Can Marçà…

As you can see, Ibiza has a lot of ways to enjoy it. In this post we advise you how to make the most of your 48 hours in this little paradise. Have you taken the plane yet?
